The former Love Island presenter was found dead at her London home on Saturday, and a lawyer for the Flack family confirmed that she had taken her own life.
She was just 40 years old.
As people struggle to come to terms with the loss of the beloved TV star, her close friend Lou Teasdale asked how she is supposed to explain what's happened to her eight-year-old daughter, who has always had Caroline as part of her life.
Celebrity hairstylist Lou shared a picture of Caroline holding her little girl Lux up n the air and copying her open-mouthed excited expression.
The sweet little girl is reaching out towards Caroline in the picture taken in 2011.
